Car Cover Fitting & Folding Instructions

🧭 HOW TO FIT YOUR CAR COVER

Step 1: Prepare Your Vehicle

  • Make sure your car is clean and dry before covering.

  • Remove any sharp objects or antennas (if detachable) that could tear the cover.

Step 2: Identify the Front Side

  • Locate the front tag or zipper area (usually on the driver’s side) — this indicates the front of the cover.

Step 3: Unfold and Position the Cover

  • Unfold the cover halfway and place it on the roof of your vehicle.

  • Align the front portion over the front bumper and the rear portion toward the trunk or tailgate.

Step 4: Pull Down the Sides

  • Gently pull the cover down over the mirrors, doors, and bumpers.

  • Make sure the reflectors are facing outward (front and back).

Step 5: Secure the Straps

  • Fasten the 4 wind straps (two on each side) under the vehicle to keep it from blowing away.

  • Use the center strap for extra hold in strong winds.

  • Tighten the gartered edges around the bumpers and wheel wells for a snug fit.

Step 6: Lock if Needed

  • Use the free keyless padlock to secure the cover’s grommets (if included) for anti-theft protection.

🧳 HOW TO FOLD THE CAR COVER

Step 1: Remove the Straps and Lift the Cover

  • Unclip all straps and remove the padlock if used.

  • Lift the cover gently off the vehicle — avoid dragging it to prevent scratches or dirt buildup.

Step 2: Lay It Flat

  • Spread the cover flat on a clean, dry surface (cotton inner side facing up).

Step 3: Fold the Sides Inward

  • Fold both sides toward the center until the width is about 2–3 feet (about shoulder width).

Step 4: Roll or Fold From Front to Back

  • Starting from one end, roll or fold the cover toward the other end neatly.

  • This prevents wrinkles and keeps it compact.

Step 5: Store Properly

  • Place the folded cover in the free storage bag provided.

  • Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or moisture when not in use.

⚠️ TIPS & REMINDERS:

  • Do not cover a wet or hot car (e.g., right after driving).

  • Clean the cover occasionally with mild soap and water, then air-dry completely.

  • Avoid machine washing or drying to preserve fabric coating and waterproofing.
